March is:

National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month - Colorectal Cancer can also be referred to as Colon or Rectal Cancer.  This simply means that the cancer has originated in either the colon or rectum.  It is recommended that once you reach the age of 50 that a regular screening should be done early to catch colon cancer in its early stages when it is most curable.  For further information about Colorectal Cancer Screening please speak with your physician for more details or you can visit the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) website to familiarize yourself with some of the signs and symptoms.  Friday, March 2nd is the official day for Colorectal Cancer Awareness.  We encourage all of you to wear blue that day to raise awareness.
