Prevention to Sports Injuries

Fall sports are back in session.  Make sure your athlete takes precaution to have a safe and successful season.  To prevent injuries, follow these helpful tips:

  • Make sure your child(ren) drink plenty of fluids.
  • Stretch prior to and after participating in activities to prevent strained muscles and sprains.
  • Participate in proper strengthening activities/conditioning.
  • Take breaks periodically to prevent heat related illnesses.
  • Wear proper safety gear.
  • If you experience pain with activity, stop.
